Melbourne gets another #BIG dosage of Aussies versus Kiwis

NEWS: The world’s best players will return to Melbourne in an action-packed weekend of Super Rugby.

‘Super Round Melbourne’ will take place in the Victorian state capital from Friday, March 3 through to Sunday, March 5, next year.

For the first time, Melbourne will play host to all 12 Super Rugby Pacific teams – who will face-off for Round Two of the regular season (Moana Pasifika v Western Force was cancelled in 2022 due to COVID).

All six matches will create a Trans-Tasman rivalry featuring a side from both sides of the Tasman.

Double-headers are scheduled across each of the three days with the 2022 Grand Final Winners the Crusaders kicking off the weekend against the Highlanders on Friday, followed by the hometown team the Melbourne Rebels to host the Hurricanes.
