Mitchell cleared for SA tour

The Waratahs received a timely boost ahead of their two-match tour of South Africa.

The 26-man squad, which will fly out on Saturday, will play the Stormers (at Newlands on May 19) and the (, Bloemfontein, May 26).

Included alongside the 22 members of the squad that faced the Bulls on Friday are Bernard Foley, Jono Jenkins, Tatafu Polota-Nau and Drew Mitchell.

Mitchell returns to the squad after recovering from the ankle injury sustained at last year’s World Cup.

The 22-man squad to take on the Stormers will be announced next week.
