Quesada unveils Jaguares Super Rugby squad
SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT: New Jaguares head coach Gonzalo Quesada has confirmed his squad ahead of their 2019 Super Rugby pre-season which begins next week.
The group will consist of 43 players which will include a number of talented youngsters joining the many experienced campaigners in the squad
Tomás Cubelli will have the opportunity to make his debut for Jaguares in Super Rugby having already played in the Southern Hemisphere competition with Australian team the Brumbies.
Cubelli spent the 2018 Super Rugby season sidelined with a neck injury.
Meanwhile, Joaquín Tuculet and Enrique Pieretto will also return to the squad after recovering from knee injuries that kept them sidelined in recent months.
Among the new faces in the Jaguares squad in 2019 includes Rodrigo Bruni, who made his debut for Los Pumas in the November Test window in Europe.
Dominic Miotti, Franco Molina and Gaspar Baldunciel are also in the squad for next season.
The Pumas U20s also contribute a handful of graduates including Santiago Chocobares, Ignacio Mendy, Lucas Paulos, Santiago Carreras, Santiago Grondona, Lucio Sordoni and Mayco Vivas. The last four players were also selected for the Pumas in November.
The most notable absence is flyhalf Nicolas Sanchez. The No. 10 linked up with Stade Francais for the 2018 Top 14 season in France.
