Ranger to return to New Zealand
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: The Sunwolves’ new signing Rene Ranger is set for a lengthy period on the sidelines.
Due to a right knee ligament injury sustained during the Sunwolves game against the Sharks last week, Ranger will be returning to New Zealand to undergo a rehabilitation programme.
Meanwhile, the Sunwolves have made a couple of changes for their team to face the Waratahs on Tokyo on Saturday.
Gerhard van den Heever moves from fullback to wing with Jason Emery wearing the No.15 jersey this week. Ryoto Nakamura comes into the midfield in place of Phil Burleigh.
In the second row, Tom Rowe takes over the No.5 jersey from James Moore, while Hiroshi Yamashita comes into the No.3 jersey in place of Asaeli Valu.
