Saili cuts and runs to France

The Blues and New Zealand Rugby have reached agreement with loose forward Peter Saili to terminate his employment with immediate effect.

Saili, aged 27, will take up a contract in France later this month.

New Zealand General Manager Neil Sorensen said that all three parties were satisfied with the outcome.

Blues CEO Michael Redman said the Blues are currently considering their options for a replacement player in the 2015 squad.

Saili played 71 games for the Blues since his debut in 2009.

Details of the contract severance are confidential to the parties involved and no further details will be given.
