Serfontein to miss season finale
The embattled Bulls suffered another blow with the news that Springbok midfielder Jan Serfontein has not recovered sufficiently from his knee injury.
Serfontein, who returned home early after picking a medial knee ligament injury on the New Zealand leg of their Australasian tour, will miss his team's last Super Rugby clash of the season – against the Cheetahs in Pretoria on Saturday.
The flipside of the injury report has Deon Stegmann, who missed the Rebels match last week due to bruised ribs, as possibly being available.
He will be given till Thursday to prove his fitness.
Other good news included the report that JJ Engelbrecht (elbow), Burger Odendaal (hamstring), Jacques du Plessis (back) and Jesse Kriel (quad) were all back on the field on Tuesday.
