Stormers optimistic about their captain

Siyamthanda Kolisi injured his ankle in his side's 29-17 win over the Bulls. He was replaced early in the second half of that match.

"We think he will be good to go for Saturday," said Stormers assistant coach Paul Feeney at the team's base in Bellville.

"He will run on Thursday and we will see how he goes."

Feeney added: "We didn't pick up any major injuries from last weekend so for a change we are unscathed."

The Stormers are currently fourth in the South African conference with five wins from their 11 matches. All those wins have been at Newlands.

Saturday's win saw the Cape side move to ninth place in the overall standings.

The Chiefs are fourth in the New Zealand conference and sixth in the overall standings.
