Struggling Bulls to get Vermeulen back
TRANSFER NEWS: Springbok star Duane Vermuelen will be heading back to Pretoria to join the Bulls in June.
The Pretoria side confirmed the news via their social media channels.
The 33-year-old Vermeulen featured for the Bulls in the 2019 Super Rugby season. He then went on to be one of the stars of Rassie Erasmus’ World Cup-winning squad in Japan a few months later.
Since then he has been with the Kubota Spears in Japan.
However, the news of Vermeulen’s return will be of little of comfort to Bulls fans as he will only be back in Pretoria at the end of the current Super Rugby season.

The Bulls are currently sitting at the bottom of the overall standings with four defeats from their four games so far.
The Bulls went down 24-39 to the Jaguares in Pretoria on Saturday after losses to the Blues, Stormers and Sharks in their previous matches.
Their next match will be at home against the Highlanders in Round Six.
