Sunwolves finalise Super Rugby squad

The squad features 20 players with international experience with scrumhalf Atsushi Hiwasa the leading player in this regard with 51 caps for Japan.

Keita Ignaki, Shinnosuke Kakinaga, Masataka Mikami, Takuma Asahara, Ryuhei Arita, Shota Horie, Takeshi Kizu, Shinya Makabe, Hitoshi Ono, Tsuyoshi Murata, Yuki Yatomi, Harumichi Tatekawa and Akihito Yamada have also represented the Cherry Blossoms.

The squad also features Samoa Tusi Pisi, USA loose forward Andrew Durutalo and Argentinian loose forward Tomas Leonardi.

Springbok fullback Riaan Viljoen, who scored two tries in the 52-24 demolition of a Top League XV side, has been named as one of the three fullbacks in the side.
