Sunwolves' new coach reveals his hand
SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT: Sunwolves new head coach Tony Brown has revealed his 29-man squad for next year’s Super Rugby season.
The Japanese franchise have undergone major changes in terms of the coaching team. The side will have a new head coach Tony Brown following Jamie Joseph’s appointment as Japan coach.
Brown will be assisted by Scott Hansen, who continues in his role as an assistant coach for the 2019 Super Rugby season.
While Brown’s brother Cory and Marty Veale will complete the coaching ticket.
In terms of the squad, there are some new faces in the squad.
Maori All Blacks star Dan Pryor, along six-caped All Black Rene Ranger and former Blues, utility back Phil Burleigh are some of the new names on the squad sheet.
The Kiwi trio adds loads of Super Rugby experience to the Japanese team.
