Springbok Jesse Kriel has completed a full week’s training and will be available for selection this weekend.

The centre has been sidelined since he sustained an ankle injury during the 23-24 defeat to the Stormers in Round 11.

Lock Jason Jenkins is also available for selection after he has recovered from his calf strain.

The bad news for the Pretoria-based franchise is that Burger Odendaal is unlikely to play against the Hurricanes. The inside centre injured his collarbone during the Bulls’  48-27 win over the Lions in Pretoria last weekend.

The centre will travel with the team and a decision on his availability will be made later this week.

Hooker Schalk Brits recovered from his concussion but woke up on Monday with a severe case of flu. A call on his availability will also be made later this week.
