VIDEO: Bulls reveal long-term injury concerns

INJURY UPDATE: The Bulls will start their 2019 Super Rugby campaign with a number of players on the long-term injury list.

The squad will be without Marnitz Boshoff (return at the end of April), Marco van Staden (shoulder – March) and Edgar Marutlulle (Achilles tendon – March) for the foreseeable future.

Hooker Jaco Visagie consulted a specialist regarding an ankle niggle.

The extent of the injury is will be revealed in due course.

The medium-term injuries include Jano Venter, Aston Fortuin and Gerhard Steenekamp – with all three expected to be ready in four weeks.

Travis Ismaiel, Roelof Smit, Madot Mabokela and Nqoba Mxoli have returned from their long term injuries and are training with the squad.

Players returning from injury are Warrick Gelant, Eli Snyman, Lizo Gqoboka and Tim Agaba.
