Waratahs change one for quarterfinal
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: The Waratahs have made one change to their starting XV for their Super Rugby quarterfinal clash against the Highlanders in Sydney on Saturday.
Wing Alex Newsome will make his first start for the Waratahs in three months.
He replaces Cameron Clarke in the starting XV. Clarke will play off the bench.
“Every time he’s [Newsome] touched the ball, he’s really added, he’s really exciting and I think he really deserves a shot,” said Waratahs head coach Daryl Gibson.
“He’s got some excellent wingers he’s going to be up against and we know he can do the job there.”
