Ex-Perpignan boss taking legal action
Former Perpignan general manager Jacques Delmas, sacked last November for “gross misconduct”, is taking legal action against the club, sources close to the French Top 14 outfit said on Tuesday.
Delmas took over the job before the start of the season replacing Jacques Brunel, who left to replace Nick Mallett as head coach of the Italian national side.
But results were poor and his relationship with the players strained, as the club struggled a lowly ninth in the domestic league at the time of his sacking.
Both sides will meet with mediators before the court in Perpignan on April 5.
