Leinster get a boost ahead of Ulster showdown
SQUAD UPDATE: Leinster head coach Leo Cullen has issued an injury update ahead of Saturday’s United Rugby Championship quarterfinal against Ulster in Dublin.
The good news is that one of their star players will be available for selection.
Garry Ringrose is expected to return to full training this week after his return from a shoulder injury.
Meanwhile, Charlie Ngatai came through the game against Connacht at the weekend with no issues after his return from a shoulder injury.
Jack Conan was withdrawn from that match as a precaution and will be further assessed this week ahead of selection this weekend.
The player that will be unavailable for selection this week is Tommy O’Brien.
He picked up a hamstring injury at the weekend and will enter a period of rehabilitation.
Leinster provided no further updates on Jason Jenkins (knee), Liam Turner (arm), Lee Barron (shoulder), Alex Soroka (foot).
Jenkins suffered his injury in the Champions Cup Final against Toulouse.
