Cheetahs trio head to Ospreys in 'game-changer' development
TRANSFER NEWS: Cheetahs and Ospreys have committed to a ground-breaking new player development partnership deal.
The partnership between Cheetahs and Ospreys will be beneficial for both clubs as it will enable them to provide future opportunities for growth and development.
As part of the new partnership, Ospreys have signed three players on loan from the South African side, various media reports revealed.
Wing Daniel Kasende, hooker Marnus van der Merwe and scrumhalf Rewan Kruger have joined the Welsh region on short-term moves.
The agreement will also see Ospreys players head in the opposite direction to the Bloemfontein-based team, benefiting from the experience gained playing alongside the Currie Cup winners in South Africa.
A local South African news outlet the OFM revealed that Ospreys Rugby General Manager, Dan Griffiths is an exciting collaboration.
