CONFIRMED: Stormers to host semis in Cape Town
NEWS: The line-up for the United Rugby Championship semifinals has been confirmed with Dublin and Cape Town hosting games on Saturday, May 13.
As the highest-ranked teams who qualified for the semifinals Leinster (1) and Stormers (3) will be the home sides with Munster (5) and Connacht (7) hitting the road with places on the line to reach the URC Grand Final on Saturday, May 27.
The weekend’s results also confirm that Connacht’s place in next season’s Champions Cup is now confirmed.
Semifinal One will take place at 17.30 UK/Irish time (16.30 GMT) at Landsdowne Road as Leinster (1) hosts Munster in the Irish capital.
Semifinal two will take place at 16.00 South African time (14.00 GMT, 15.00 UK/Irish time) at Cape Town Stadium as Stormers (3) welcome Connacht (7) to the Western cape.
The winners will face each other in the URC Grand Final with the highest-ranked team hosting the game at their nominated venue.

Semifinal Path
The winner of quarterfinal one (Leinster) plays the winner of quarterfinal four (Munster) in semifinal One and the winner of quarterfinal two (Connacht) plays the winner of quarterfinal three ( Stormers) in semifinal two.
In a change to last season’s rules, the teams with the highest seeding in each semifinal will have home venue rights. Previously, the winners of quarterfinal one and quarterfinal two were guaranteed home draws no matter their ranking.
