Jake rings the changes
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Bulls Director of Rugby Jake White has revealed the team he hopes can bring him a much-needed win against Ulster in a United Rugby Championship outing in Belfast on Saturday.
The team for this Round 16 encounter is highlighted by the return of Springboks Kurt-Lee Arendse and Canan Moodie.
It shows nine changes from the side that started in their last URC outing, a 25-25 loss to the Lions at Loftus Versfeld three weeks ago.
Arendse (at fullback) and Moodie (right wing) start ahead of Wandisile Simelane and Sibongile Novuka respectively.
Another seasoned player returning to the starting XV is Harold Vorster, who is at inside centre in place of David Kriel – the latter moving to left win in place of Sibusiso Nkosi.
Chris Smith starts at flyhalf in place of veteran Bok Morné Steyn, who will play off the bench.
Izak Burger is at scrumhalf in place of Embrose Papier, who also drops down to the bench.
In the changes up front Cyle Brink replaces WJ Steenkamp at blindside flank, Ruan Vermaak comes in at lock for Jacques Du Plessis and Gerhard Steenekamp is the starting loosehead prop ahead of Dylan Smith.
