Lions lose Tshituka brothers ahead of Leinster clash

NEWS: The Lions will be without Vincent and Emmanuel Tshituka for their clash against Leinster in Dublin.

The brothers were initially named in the squad to travel to Ireland for the match on Friday.

However, in a statement from their team on Monday, the Lions revealed that the players are unable to travel.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances relating to their travel document requirements, brothers Vincent and Emmanuel Tshituka will no longer make the trip to Dublin for their team’s United Rugby Championship fixture against Leinster on Friday, 25 February at the RDS Arena,” said the statement.

“The Tshitukas were originally named in the 26-man Lions travelling squad.

“Lunga Ncube will join the squad in Dublin as cover.”
