Scarlets suffer big blow ahead of Bulls clash

NEWS: The Scarlets have lost one of their top players ahead of their United Rugby Championship clash against the Bulls in Pretoria on Friday.

Scarlets confirmed that prop Samson Lee has flown back to the UK from South Africa after rupturing his Achilles tendon in training.

On his return home, the Wales international, who has 45 Test caps, will undergo a specialist review to establish a management plan for the injury.

Javan Sebastian has joined the Scarlets squad in Pretoria ahead of their match against the Bulls.

The Welsh side started their South African tour with a 20-37 defeat to the Sharks in Durban.
