The full extent of De Allende's injury
INJURY UPDATE: Munster have confirmed that Springbok centre Damian De Allende will remain on the sidelines for a number of weeks due to an abdominal injury
The South African centre missed the wins over Ulster and Castres due to the injury.
He has been ruled out of Sunday’s final Champions Cup pool game against Wasps and will be out for a couple of weeks.
Springbok lock RG Snyman (knee), along with Joey Carbery (elbow) and Rowan Osborne (head) also remain on Munster’s long-term injury list.
While hooker Declan Moore returned to Munster last week after a short-term spell as injury cover at Ulster.
In better news, South African duo Jason Jenkins (abdomen) and Chris Cloete (neck) have been reintroduced to training this week.
Munster revealed their respective availability for the Wasps match will be decided later in the week.
