Two-time World Cup winner Steven Kitshoff returned to Cape Town for an important United Rugby Championship date with Irish province Ulster – who face the Stormers on Saturday.
However, before taking on fellow double World Cup winner Frans Malherbe in the scrums, Kitshoff sat down with Rudy Paige and Juan De Jongh for a delightful and informative chat about all matters rugby – on and off the field – in the latest episode of Behind the Ruck podcast.
Kitshoff explained how he was invited for a real braai – South African style – with Ulster and Ireland hooker Rob Herring.
He talks about having a pre-game handshake and GA (gentleman’s agreement) with Malherbe ahead of Saturday’s URC face-off in Cape Town, whether there is another World Cup in him, possibly returning to the Stormers and Bomb Squad beer.
