URC quarterfinal showdowns confirmed

NEWS: After a dramatic ending to the most competitive regular season of the United Rugby Championship the line-up for next weekend’s quarter-finals can be confirmed.

Defending champions Munster have earned the top ranking for the play-offs meaning that they will host the 2024 URC Grand Final should they qualify.

Munster will face Ospreys in quarterfinal One at Thomond Park, Limerick while second-placed Bulls will host Benetton at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.

Quarterfinal three sees eight-time league winners Leinster take on Ulster at Lansdowne Road Stadium in Dublin and the final game of the slate sees Glasgow Warriors and Stormers meet in Scotstoun Stadium.

Quarterfinal one: (1) Munster v (8) Ospreys

Venue: Thomond Park, Limerick
Kick-off: 19.35 (18.35 GMT)

Saturday, June 8

Quarterfinal two: (2) Bulls v (7) Benetton

Venue: Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria
Kick-off: 15.30 (13.30 GMT; 15.30 Italy time)

Quarterfinal three: (3) Leinster v (6) Ulster

Venue: Lansdowne Road Stadium, Dublin
Kick-off: 17.00 (16.00 GMT)

Quarterfinal four: (4) Glasgow Warriors v (5) Stormers

Venue: Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow
Kick-off: 19.35 (18.35 GMT; 20.35 SA time)

The potential semifinal line-up will see the winners of QF1 and QF4 meet in semifinal 1.

The winners of QF2 and QF3 will meet in semifinal 2.

Semifinal one: Munster/Ospreys v Glasgow Warriors/Stormers
Semifinal two: Bulls/Benetton v Leinster/Ulster.
