Dagbreek the pride of Stellenbosch
Steinhoff Dagbreek will take over from Majuba as Stellenbosch’s representatives in the 2010 Steinhoff Koshuisrugby championships.
Dagbreek defeated Helshoogte in the final of the 2009 Stellenbosch Steinhoff Koshuis (Residence) League – despite the latter having finished top of the league table.
A proud koshuis team, with a superb record, Dagbreek will be looking to make Stellenbosch’s presence felt in the 2010 Steinhoff Koshuisrugby championships after Majuba failed to even qualify for the play-offs last year – winning just one match in the process.
The pressure, of course, will be on Dagbreek to emulate the senior Stellenbosch team, the Maties, who have won back-to-back Varsity Cup titles – losing just three matches in two years of this great competition.
