Just four teams left standing in Tuks' league
The 2008 Winter House League finalists, Maroela and Sonop, have both qualified for the 2009 Steinhoff Winter House semifinals which will take place at Tuks on Tuesday, September 1.
Frontrunners, and still firm favourites for the championship title, Onderstepoort, had little trouble in reaching the Last Four, but Geelhout caused a major upset by eliminating Boekenhout, winner of Group Y.
Defending champions Maroela will play Geelhout in the semifinals, whilst Sonop has the unenviable task of stopping OP. Onderstepoort, Group X’s winner, have now won five games in a row and were the only unbeaten team in the Top 8 round.
Meanwhile, a new champion will be crowned in the Under-20 league as Vividus did not qualify for the semifinals. The teams through are Taaibos, Kollege, Sonop and Mopanie.

Friday, August 28:
Second League: VOB v Boekenhout; Mopanie v EBIT
Tuesday, September 1:
First League: Onderstepoort v Sonop; Geelhout v Maroela
Under-21 League: Taaibos v Kollege; Sonop v Mopanie
