Magalies, Monitor the new log-leaders

Steinhoff Patriot suffered their first defeat in TUT’s 2010 Steinhoff Koshuisrugby Championships, with Steinhoff Magalies and Steinhoff Monitor the new pace-setters in the league.

Patriot went down rather heavily to Monitor, which saw them drop down to third position on the log.

Next week’s clash between Magalies and Monitor – the two remaining unbeaten teams – is going to be interesting, according to TUT Vikings boss, Jimmy Watt.

Said Jimmy to varsitycup.co.za: “Both teams have showed that they can score tries from open play, but I expect that the match will be won by the pack of forwards that will dominate.”
