Maroela return as Tuks' champions

Maroela will return to the Steinhoff Koshuisrugby championships this year as Tukkies’ representatives.

Maroela lost to eventual winners Armentum in the semifinals of the 2009 Steinhoff Koshuisrugby championships, but retained their Tuks title after drawing 17-17 with Onderstepoort in their internal final.

The match was tied at 11-11 after regulation time, and 17-17 after extra-time, but the Men from Maroela were awarded the title because they scored the first try of the final.
