Onderstepoort remains new firm favourites to claim championships honours in Tuks’ 2009 Winter Hostel League – sponsored by Steinhoff International.

The Men from Onderstepoort on Tuesday brought an end to Boekenhout’s unbeaten record (20-19), after also also taking care of defending champions Maroela the week before.

Maroela did, however, bounce back from their first loss of the season by beating Sonop 20-12.

In the other two Top 8 matches, Olienhout and Mopanie won against Geelhout (13-0) and Kiaat (14-6), respectively.
