Baby Boks 'rob' Shimlas

Call-ups to the national Under-20 team have forced the FNB Shimlas to make changes to their team for their Varsity Cup Round Three encounter with FNB Maties at Shimla Park on Monday.

Fullback Lionel Cronjé has been called up by the ‘Baby Boks’ and Johann Myburg comes in to take over the Shimla No.15 jersey.

Flank Pieter Labuschagne is another who is on national age-grade duty and won’t play on Monday, with Willie Britz wearing the No.7 jersey in his place.

Other changes see Llewellyn Adonis return to the starting XV on the left-wing after recovering from a hand injury, taking the place of Hadlee Smith, while at lock Barry Landman will partner Frans la Grange and André Tredoux drops down to the bench.

Replacements: 16 Gert Erasmus, 17 Sewes Oosthuizen, 18  Philippus Steyn, 19 Andre Tredoux, 20 Johan van Niekerk, 21 Marlin Ruiters, 22 Hadley Smith.
