Cronje move for Shimlas

The Shimlas’ exciting flyhalf Lionel Cronjé has been named at fullback for their FNB Varsity Cup, presented by Steinhoff International clash against the North West University (Pukke) on Monday.

Cronje replaces Llewelyn Adonis, who moves to the bench with centre Niel Jacobs moving flyhalf.S

Cronjé, one of the stars in the match against NMMU last Monday, has also been included in the SA Under 20 side that travel to Argentina on February 16.

He will however, be back in action for Shimlas in the Varsity Cup during March.

Scrumhalf Jaco Colyn will skipper Shimlas, while prop Drew van Coller has been included in the squad after being cleared through a technicality of stamping on a NMMU-player’s head last Monday

Replacements: 16 Gert Erasmus, 17 Sewes Oosthuizen, 18 Willem Britz, 19 Jos de Klerk, 20 Boer van Niekerk, 21 Marlin Ruiters, 22 Earl Snyman.
