Ikey Tigers star Brown, 22, has played in every tournament in the 2008/09 IRB Sevens World Series – a potentially ground-breaking campaign for South African Seven-a-side rugby.
Of course, he cut his teeth at Varsity Cup level in 2008 – helping UCT through to the first-ever final in the process – and in this great audio interview he speaks about the step up from the Varsity Cup, and club rugby, to representing the ‘Blitz Bokke’ at the highest level.
