Pukke change one for TUT clash

FNB Pukke coach Rudy Joubert has made one change ahead of Monday’s Varsity Cup match against the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

Pukke’s victory over UJ was a major step towards play-off qualification, but they cannot afford another slip-up in the 2009 FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International.

The Men from the North West are currently fourth on the Varsity Cup log and Joubert has virtually kept faith with the same team that beat FNB UJ 19-9 this past Monday – making just one change to the starting line-up.

Savvas Nel replaces Francois Robbertse in the back row, while the only other change sees stalwart prop JJ Koch replace Dewald Coetzee on the bench.

Koch was a late withdrawal from the starting XV last week, but BG Uys retains his place at loosehead prop for this Monday.

FNB Pukke: 15 Willem Barnard, 14 Andrew Van Wyk, 13 Wenstley Scott, 12 Wouter Watermeyer, 11 Randall April, 10 Cecil Dumond, 9 Andries Mahoney, 8 Willem van der Wal (captain), 7 Savvas Nel, 6 Jaco Lotter, 5 Markus Fourie, 4 Grant le Roux, 3 Stephan Bezuidenhout, 2 Stoffel Duvenhage, 1 BG Uys.
Replacements: 16 JJ Koch, 17 Lourens Botes, 18 Victor Kruger, 19 Thabo Molete, 20 Theuns Kotzé, 21 Dewan Eckard, 22 Lola Waka.

Kick-off: Monday, March 9, 6.45pm, TUT Stadium
