Pukke's 50-minute demolition

The table-topping FNB Pukke needed just 50 minutes to rack up a crushing 76-0 Grand Challenge win over Union on Friday night.

According to a report on suparugby.com, the match had to be called off after 50 minutes when tempers began to fray.

The match, however, was certainly well over by then with Pukke having quickly extended their 55-0 half-time lead by grabbing three tries within ten minutes of the start of the second half.

Winger Johannes Seerane scored a hat-trick of tries, whilst fullback Theuns Kotze’s 20-point contribution came before half-time.

Pukke’s scorers:
Tries:
Johannes Seerane 3, Theuns Kotze 2, Wouter Watermeyer 2, Stefan Bezuidenhout, Jaco Lotter, Jacques de Kock, Dirco Rautenbach, Alfred Wauts
Cons: Theuns Kotze 5, John Roodt 2, Chris Erasmus
