Tuks crush Brits - again

FNB Tuks recorded their second big win of the 2009 Carlton League season over Brits, with the 2008 and 2009 Varsity Cup semifinalists racking up over 100 points on Saturday.

Last month Tuks smashed Brits 99-5, but this weekend the Pretoria students won 130-0; scoring a whopping 20 unanswered tries in the process.

Fifteen of Tuks’ tries were converted and they must be looking forward to the 2009 National Club Championships, which – of course – they will be hosting in September.

Freddie Grobler’s team, who went down to eventual winners Stellenbosch in the 2008 and 2009 VC semifinals, will be eyeing the Club Champs with plenty of confidence – and rightly so.
