Tuks tops with big win

FNB Tuks confirmed their position at the top of the Carlton Cup log with a comprehensive 45-11 win over the Naka Bulle at the weekend.

Tuks, Varsity Cup semifinalists in 2008 and 2009, scored six tries to two, converting their more than useful 25-6 half-time lead into a commanding victory.

Tuks have lost just one match this season in Blue Bulls country and they are two points ahead of second-placed Polisie at present on the standings.

In other Varsity Cup-related Carlton Cup action this weekend, TUT put Silver Valke to the sword, winning 24-8 after trailing by 6-8 at half-time.

TUT are now in fourth place on the standings.
