Tuks win another VC 'derby'

FNB Tuks put one over fellow Varsity Cup team, TUT, in Carlton League action at the weekend.

Tuks beat TUT 14-7 the last time these two sides met – in league action back in May – and the Men from Pretoria made it two from two with their three tries to nil win on Friday.

TUT had just two penalties and one drop-goal to show for their efforts, whilst Tuks narrowly failed to claim that valuable four-try bonus point as they won 23-9.

Tuks, of course, are well on top of the standings in the 2009 Carlton League and will be one of the favourites at the 2009 National Club Championships, which they will be hosting, in September.
