TUT ready for Silver Valke battle
TUT have announced their starting line-up that will do battle with Silver Valke in Carlton Cup action in Blue Bulls country this evening.
The Men from TUT – who will be captained by flyhalf Werner Pieterse – are in fifth place on the Carlton standings, with Silver Valke just one place and one point ahead of them on the log.
Pieterse’s side will rely upon their big-game experience from the Varsity Cup, with outside centre Tjaart Kleu (pictured) shaping up as a key man again for TUT, having impressed during the 2009 FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International.
Johan Swartz, Wynand Willis, Adrihan Kruger, Johan Steenkamp, Wikus Botes, Sangoni Mxoli, Ruan Pretorius and Jan-Harm Steenkamp are other Varsity Cup regulars worth keeping an eye on tonight.
