UJ goes from win to a draw

SCORE CORRECTION: The result in the Varsity Cup Round one fixture between CUT and UJ, played at the CUT Stadium, has been corrected following an appeal of a try scored by CUT.

The try was awarded as a normal five-point try and they believed it should have been a Point of Origin (seven-point) try.

SA Rugby reviewed the match and the try which led to the decision that the try needs to be changed to reflect a Point of Origin try.

With this correction, the result between CUT and UJ is a 44-all draw.

It was previously reported as CUT 42-44 UJ.
