UWC, Fort Hare choose for Monday
UWC and Fort Hare, who will be playing in a Varsity Cup curtain-raiser on Monday afternoon, have named their starting line-ups for what should be an entertaining match.
These two university sides will lock horns in Port Elizabeth at 12.30pm, just before the Shimlas-UCT match at 2.30pm; UWC no doubt looking for revenge after going down 6-31 in this corresponding fixture in Cape Town last year.
Fort Hare, of course, also beat UWC 17-16 at the University Sport South Africa (USSA) games in July 2008.
Lock Reginald Nutt will captain UWC and he will be partnered by one of Calvin Hendricks or Pappas Davids in the second row.
Luthando Mkhwelo – who played at centre last year – will skipper the Fort Hare team from the No.8 position, whilst SA Universities flyer Ziniko Dumaphi (No.14) is a man to watch out for on the Fort Hare side.
