Nadolo banned for one week

Nadolo, who has scored 16 of Fiji's 24 points registered so far at the tournament, has been accused of carrying out a high tackle during Australia's 28-13 win last Wednesday.

Rugby World Cup said Nadolo, 27, had denied the offence.

A statement said judicial officer Chris Quinlan "was not satisfied" that Nadolo had committed a spear tackle – where a player is lifted up and dropped in a way that his head comes down first.

But he was found guilty of the lesser charge of a dangerous tackle. Quinlan said that a two week penalty was reduced to one week "taking into account mitigating factors including his excellent disciplinary record."
