Scotland warm up for the WC
Scotland will face France, Ireland and Italy as part of the national team's preparations for the World Cup.
The four-match schedule played on consecutive Saturdays from mid-August (15) will begin when Vern Cotter's men travel to face Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Back-to-back fixtures against Italy will follow in Turin and Edinburgh, before concluding preparations against France in Paris at the start of September.
Scotland head coach Vern Cotter, said: "Clearly our priority at the moment is the forthcoming Six Nations however we are pleased to confirm four matches against top quality international opposition ahead of the World Cup.
"The games will allow us to rotate and test a large group of players throughout these preparatory matches in what is the last opportunity for everyone to put their hand up for selection.”
Scotland will face Japan, USA, South Africa and Samoa in the pool stages of this year's flagship rugby competition in England.
