Everyone’s attention was glued to the intense on-field action of the 2019 World Cup but you may have noticed some of these more light-hearted moments.

The Springboks went on to win the competition for the third time in the country’s history, in a country hosting the competition for the first time.

Springbok hooker Schalk Brits assisting the Canadian hooker in putting on the Springbok jersey in the post-match formalities will probably be one of the first off-field memories the public would remember and let’s not forget the famous swimming trunks worn by scrumhalf Faf de Klerk.
