City Guide: Birmingham

What is great for families is that they can come face-to-face- with ocean creatures such as an octopus, stingrays and jellyfish, one could even hold crabs and tickle starfish at the National Sea Life Centre. On the other side of the city is the Birmingham Science Museum.

It is easy to get around Birmingham – with public transport. Birmingham New Street station is an hour and 25minutes away from London Euston station- with the nearest airport being Birmingham Airport where regular trains take 10 minutes from Birmingham International station to the heart of the city center. 

The Mailbox is the go to place for designer shopping and restaurants- with the Arcadian being a popular choice in terms of nightlife.
