Former France international Salas dies

Prop and second row forward Salas, capped seven times for France in the 1970s, also won the French championship title with Narbonne in 1979.

Salas was notably part of the France team, led by Jean-Pierre Rives, who defeated the All Blacks 24-19 in Auckland in July 1979.

He passed away following a long illness.
