The 33-year-old Khinchagashvili was given a one-year deal and the other three join on two-year contracts.

The Basque outfit clinched deals last week with New Zealand international lock Tom Donnelly from Montpellier and Scottish flank Johnnie Beattie from Castres.

Bayonne secured promotion back up to the Top 14 this season at the first time of asking, and have already signed a raft of players for next season in a bid to strengthen their squad in a bid to maintain their top flight status.

Lyon, also promoted into the Top 14, have signed powerful 22-year-old Australian winger Henry Clunies-Ross, the fastest ever player on the Waratahs' books.

The youngster will join Lyon's star signing, veteran French international flyhalf Frederic Michalak, at the central France club.
