France duo Oscar Jegou and Hugo Auradou who’s been accused of the rape while on tour in Argentina will face a court hearing in Mendoza on August 8 – a provincial justice spokesman told AFP on Friday.

The duo were initially due in court two days earlier but the date has been moved to accomodate the 39-year-old accuser.

The woman claims to have been raped by the touring duo – who insists that it was a consensual sexual encounter.

Auradou and Jegou who are 20 and 21 years old respectively – were arrested two days after earning their first caps for the France national side against Argentina in Mendoza.

The alleged encounter took place in the hours following the Test match.

The accused pair have been under house arrest since July 17 and are awaiting a decision on whether that will be extended or suspended.
