Ireland call for reinforcements
Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has added four players to his squad as injury cover for the November internationals.
With Paul O'Connell, Keith Earls, Declan Fitzpatrick, Cian Healy, Sean O'Brien and Robbie Henshaw all sitting out training at Carton House on Monday, Schmidt opted not to take any chances.
The new Ireland mentor subsequently drafted in Ulster pair Roger Wilson and Andrew Trimble, Munster lock Donncha O'Callaghan and Leinster prop Martin Moore for the forthcoming fixtures against Samoa, Australia and New Zealand.
Ireland could also lose the services of Conor Murray, who has been cited for striking Niko Matawalu with the elbow during Munster's win over Glasgow Warriors on Friday.
Should he be found guilty on Wednesday, Murray could be suspended for up to eight weeks.
