Fire scare for Worcester team

Players and officials from English Premiership club Worcester escaped unharmed on Saturday after their team bus caught fire on the way to a friendly match against Welsh side Ospreys.

The incident happened on the M5 motorway in southwest England, as Worcester were travelling towards south Wales.

"The Warriors team bus caught fire on the M5 this morning. Discussions are taking place to determine whether the match will go ahead," Worcester wrote on the club's Twitter account.

"All players and staff are safe and well. We will let fans know as soon as a decision regarding the match has been made."

Worcester are due to open their Premiership campaign away to Leicester on September 8.
