Contepomi changes six for Les Blues clash

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Argentina takes on France in Buenos Aires on Saturday and Les Bleus has the opportunity of completing an unbeaten three-match tour of South America.

France is 80 minutes away from a first series win over Argentina since 1998.

But their coach Fabian Galthie must be having some distressing emotions after three of his players were removed from the French squad for racist comments and sexual assault.

Argentina’s Pablo Matera will earn his 100th cap for his country on Saturday against France on home soil in Buenos Aires.

The flank is the third Puma in history to reach the milestone of 100 test caps. He follows Agustin Creevy and Nicolás Sánchez, both of who reached 100 caps in 2023.

There is also pressure on Argentina and their new Head Coach, Felipe Contepomi.

Argentina had problems with execution in Mendoza.

Mendoza demonstrated that France’s physicality was a leading factor in the outcome.
