Namibia is set for the Youth Weeks

André van der Berg from Windhoek High School has the honour of captaining the Namibia Under-18 Craven Week side.

This year the tournaments are held at Kearsney College in Durban from July 11.

Namibia will open their Craven Week campaign against Griquas on Day one. While the Academy team will play the Red Falcons on Day two of the Academy Week.

In terms of school representations Windhoek Gimnasium boast with 16 players in the teams – ten in the Craven Week side and six in the Academy side.

Windhoek High School follows Windhoek Gimnasium with eight players in the Craven Week side and six in the Academy side.

Captain van der Berg along with Darius von Solms, Prince !Gaoseb, Jano Rieckert and Jay-C Olivier are the players that are joining the Craven Week side from last year's Craven Week side.

Namibia's Craven Week side also boast with a 400 meter IAAF junior athlete Rudi Pretorius.
